The HICOM 300 family support an external Siemens
CTI gateway called CallBridge for Workgroups/CSTA.
This CTI link implements the CSTA phase 1 protocol
and requires the standard CT Connect product. Siemens
has certified CT Connect for use with CallBridge for
workgroups/CSTA under their SIEMENS READY
program. See below for information about configuring
CT Connect for use with the North American version
of Siemens CallBridge for Workgroups/CSTA.
Siemens HICOM 300E
CT Connect kit needed: Core CT Connect
Kit
- Current switch release is Release 6.5
- Callbridge for Workgroups- Software that
enables applications to receive call event
information from the HICOM 300E to perform
telephony functions (required for CTI capabilities)
- Current Callbridge- CSTA software Release 4.0
- Callbridge for Workgroups(phase 1) - CSTA runs
on an external Windows NT or OS/2 server.
- CTI server connection to the HICOM 300E can
either be TCP/IP (ethernet) or serial (x.25).
- x.25 supported bit rate is 9600 or 19200.
- Switch software release 9006.2 supports
serial connections only.
